About Me

Your New Guitar Teacher

I’m Dave, I have a teaching studio in South Elmsall (a small town right in the middle of Doncaster, Pontefract, Wakefield and Barnsley!).

I’ve been a professional, performing musician for over 15 years now having played Guitar and Bass in several different bands, and I’m currently the full-time Bassist with my band, Warning Tones, based in Doncaster (check out my live performances).

With over 10 years experience providing guitar tuition to both children and adults, I have developed the tools to boost your playing confidence and deliver incredible results with your guitar playing, music theory, rhythm and solo work and all aspects of music performance.

I provide one-to-one lessons for Guitar, Bass and Ukulele, so all lesson time can be focused on your specific needs as a player.

Examinations

Though taking Examinations are not necessary to progress as a player, I can cover examination work on Guitar, Bass and Ukulele up to Grade 8.

My Students have a 100% Pass Rate​

I use the Rock School syllabus which is a fantastic balance of theory and practical work. Exams can be a great tool to encourage a well-rounded approach to guitar playing with a great grasp of all the aspects when it comes to being a great player.

All lessons are conducted from my private studio in South Elmsall, so you can relax and improve your playing in a great learning environment.

Guitar Lessons work much better on a one-to-one basis, so this is always my recommended structure, even for families with multiple prospective students.
